Trump confronts China pastor freed while liberals look the other way

When it comes to standing up for Christians around the world, President Trump puts his money where his mouth is. This week, an underground church pastor locked up by the authoritarian Chinese regime walked free—just two months after President Trump personally pushed for his release in talks with Xi Jinping. Coincidence? Not a chance. The contrast couldn’t be clearer between Trump’s America First diplomacy and the cowardly hand-wringing of limp-wristed liberals who think hashtags and empty speeches impress hardened communist dictators.

Pastor after pastor has been thrown into prison in China just for preaching the Gospel. While the left yaps about “dialogue” and “understanding,” Trump actually dared to confront Xi face to face. The result? Action. A life changed. A pastor gets to go home. That’s the kind of real-world difference strong American leadership makes—leadership the left abandoned long ago in exchange for climate treaties and photo ops with globalist elites.

Don’t forget that the Biden crowd, along with their pals in the mainstream media, has spent years shrugging off religious persecution in China. They’re too busy lecturing Americans about “inclusion” while looking the other way as Christians rot in labor camps. That’s the sort of moral bankruptcy we’ve come to expect from politicians more concerned with media applause than actual results.

Xi Jinping doesn’t listen to weaklings. He doesn’t care about the polished speeches from State Department bureaucrats or the cringe virtue-signaling from Hollywood stars. But when President Trump called him out—firm, direct, and unapologetic—Xi blinked. And yet, the D.C. establishment still can’t figure out why China walks all over us during Democrat administrations. Maybe if they tried putting America first for a change, the world would take notice.

The release of this pastor is more than a one-off victory; it’s proof that American strength gets things done. But here’s the burning question: Why do leftists always side with America’s critics and never our heroes? Maybe it’s because deep down, they’re afraid strong American leadership works—and exposes their endless failures for the world to see.
