America’s Founding Fathers would hardly recognize the Congress we see today. They fought and sacrificed for a country built on checks and balances, debate, and the idea that no one branch—especially the executive—could rule like a king. Yet look at where we are. Congress has become a shell of its former self, all too happy to let presidents from both parties amass more and more power. Our so-called representatives now prefer to dodge responsibility, passing the buck to bureaucrats and unelected officials.
It’s no wonder patriotic Americans are frustrated. You don’t need to be a scholar to see what’s wrong here—it’s right out in the open. The very people elected to defend our freedom roll over and give more power to the White House. Do they think the Founders bled and died so Congress could act like spineless cowards? The Founders risked everything to keep America free from executive tyranny, and now, the people in Washington hand it all away.
Let’s be clear: this isn’t some accident. The establishment in D.C.—filled with globalists, radical leftists, and weak Republicans—wants government to be controlled from the top. They’d rather push their own agendas behind closed doors than answer to the voters who put them in office. Americans are forced to watch as real law-making is shoved aside by executive orders, mandates, and backroom deals.
The blame lands squarely on those who refuse to stand up and fight. Instead of being a check on power, Congress acts like an obedient servant. They’re more interested in pleasing lobbyists, big donors, and woke corporations than actually doing their jobs. It’s anti-American, plain and simple. Meanwhile, the liberal media cheers them on, pretending this is just how things are supposed to work.
If the Founding Fathers saw today’s Congress, they wouldn’t just be disappointed—they’d be furious. How much longer will Americans tolerate this charade? Maybe it’s time the people in Congress learned what “We the People” actually means.
