When the American flag is on the line, you can always count on Donald Trump to step in and fight for our country. It should come as no surprise that, while liberals stay silent, Trump is pushing back after FIFA slapped US Men’s National Team superstar Folarin Balogun with a ridiculous red card suspension. The punishment stinks of political bias, and Trump has had enough.
While the left is busy trashing America and bowing down to every globalist organization out there, Trump actually stands up for our players. He’s demanding FIFA take another look at Balogun’s suspension, and for good reason. Anyone with eyes can see the so-called “offense” barely deserved a yellow card, let alone a full suspension. The soccer elites love flexing their anti-American muscles every chance they get, especially when our boys finally show some grit on the world stage.
Isn’t it funny how quick the international powers are to bench American talent? It seems like every time the US starts winning or a player dares to show some heart, FIFA finds a way to stack the deck. But whenever another country’s player gets away with actual dirty play, the world shrugs and looks the other way. That’s what happens when left-wing bureaucrats oversee our sports: fairness flies out the window and America gets the short straw.
Where are the woke sports commentators now? Too busy pushing their latest anti-Trump conspiracy to notice an American athlete being unfairly sidelined? Or maybe they’re just happy to see a bold player punished for actually showing pride in his country. The silence from the left is deafening, but Trump’s actions speak volumes.
Trump’s challenge to FIFA isn’t just about one player. It’s about standing up to the corruption and bias that plague global institutions. America shouldn’t have to play by rigged rules set by bureaucrats who clearly can’t stand a strong US team. If only the rest of our so-called leaders and media had half as much spine. Maybe if liberals cared as much about protecting American athletes as they do about appeasing foreign interests, Balogun would never have been benched in the first place. But then again, common sense isn’t exactly their strong suit.
