Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson is being called “The People’s Champion” on the cover of a popular magazine this month. Pause for a second and let that sink in. The same justice who can’t—or won’t—say what a woman is, is now being paraded as some champion of the American people. The left calls this representation. Most Americans call it laughable.
Let’s get real: Jackson’s entire nomination was about politics and identity, not about actual constitutional law. The liberals aren’t even shy about it. All they want are rubber-stamp justices who read Tumblr posts for legal inspiration and ignore the Constitution they’re supposed to defend. The left drools over personalities like Jackson’s because she’ll deliver them the “progressive” rulings they crave—no matter what the law or our Founding Fathers intended.
Does anyone actually believe Jackson is fighting for everyday Americans? Her main legacy so far is radical dissents and wild statements that sound like activist slogans, not careful legal analysis. She’s baffled by basic courtroom arguments, but gets front-and-center billing in glossy magazines. This isn’t justice. It’s a sideshow.
These media cheerleaders don’t want judges who interpret the law. They want politicians in black robes. Why bother with Congress when you can just legislate from the Supreme Court bench? Jackson even brags about “using her voice” instead of sticking to her actual job—defending the Constitution as written. That’s not bravery. That’s open defiance of the system we all depend on.
And let’s not kid ourselves. The Democrats have every intention of filling the entire Court with Jackson clones. Imagine an entire Supreme Court stacked with activist judges who gawp at basic definitions and treat the rule of law like a joke. If the left gets its way, checks and balances will be nothing but a memory. Is that what Americans fought and died for? Or is it just another elite power grab dressed up as progress?
