Let’s put reality back into focus. Women in this country have more opportunity, wealth, and freedom than anywhere else in the world. From Congress and boardrooms to frontline soldiers and Supreme Court justices, American women actually make up the backbone of our progress and our future. Yet, for the radical left, it’s never enough. Somehow, the script always calls for more resentment, perpetual victimhood, and demands for endless government intervention.

What’s really going on is simple. The grievance machine needs to keep churning. Celebrities and far-left activists can’t let Americans unite, not even for a milestone as huge as our 250th anniversary. The message is clear: America can never redeem itself in their eyes so long as they’re not in charge of rewriting the rules—or dismantling them entirely.

It’s pure hypocrisy. The very people screaming about “rights” are cashing huge checks, selling out stadiums, and jet-setting across the globe, all thanks to the very nation they claim is holding them down. Maybe instead of taking a swipe at America on her birthday, Alicia Keys and her friends should spend a day in countries where women truly lack rights—they’d be begging to get back to the place they so loudly criticize.

America is not perfect—no place is. But whining from the stage while draped in designer clothes isn’t courage. It’s a slap in the face to every hardworking American woman who knows her own worth. Our country’s 250th birthday is a reminder of how far we’ve come, and how the left will always find a way to drag us backward.
