It looks like Hollywood just can’t quit Donald Trump. The latest stunt? Actor Rob Reiner — a man who never missed a chance to bash conservatives — is now playing George Washington in an HBO show produced by none other than Barack Obama. That’s right, the so-called artist who made a career out of virtue-signaling is trying to rewrite American history with the blessing of the president who spent eight years dividing us.
Director Jeff Schaffer is bragging about this being some kind of “last laugh” for Reiner against Trump. How desperate do these people have to be to turn our nation’s founding father into a political weapon? They’re trying to turn entertainment into an anti-Trump smear on the taxpayer’s dime. Should we really be surprised? This is the Hollywood way — when they lose at the ballot box, they just rewrite the script.
Reiner built his whole identity around hating Trump. Now, instead of riding off quietly into the sunset, he’s using his final role to take a petty parting shot at the very president who stood up for American strength and prosperity. The same guy who never understood real patriotism is now pretending to be George Washington. Only in Hollywood can you fail upwards this hard.
And as if that wasn’t enough, the production is getting a helping hand from Obama. Remember, this is the same Obama who stoked division, weakened our military, and bowed down to global elites. Now he’s producing television that twists history to suit radical, leftist narratives. Could you imagine what George Washington would say if he saw this circus?
Hollywood liberals just don’t get it. The American people are tired of having their traditions mocked and hijacked for cheap political points. They act like mocking Trump is a personality trait. Maybe their ratings will finally reflect just how out of touch they are. But ask yourself this: if they’re so desperate to drag a founding father into their crusade against Trump, what sacred symbol won’t they destroy next?
