Liberals Beg US Soccer Star to Sabotage Team After Trump Saves the Day

Liberals never miss a chance to embarrass themselves. While American soccer fans were busy celebrating the news that Folarin Balogun—our team’s best scorer—would finally take the field against Belgium, the usual mob on the left lost their minds. They went into a tailspin over President Trump stepping up and making sure this ridiculous red card was overturned. Instead of cheering for a fair decision that lets America’s best compete, leftists whined about “unfair intervention” and “how the world will see us.” Isn’t it strange how liberals care more about pleasing the world than rooting for their own country?

Let’s face it: the only time the left wants to pay attention to American athletes is when they’re kneeling for the anthem or virtue signaling on Twitter. Now, with the World Cup on the line, they’re begging Balogun to basically throw the game by sitting out—just to protest Trump. If there’s any clearer sign that the left despises anything that even smells like American success, this is it.

Of course, the real issue here isn’t “fairness.” It’s about who gets to stand up for America. When bureaucrats tried to sideline our star player over a sketchy red card, Trump stepped in to get things fixed. That’s what leadership looks like, but liberals would rather have us rolling over for FIFA and globalist powers, groveling for permission just to play ball.

It’s no wonder liberals are panicking. Deep down, they can’t stand the idea of America actually winning—especially if Trump had anything to do with it. They talk big about fairness and transparency but only when it serves their agenda. Otherwise, rules are made to kneel to the loudest mob and bow to foreign approval.

Here’s a thought: if the left’s idea of patriotism is rooting against their own team, maybe they should just join Team Belgium. Maybe then, for once, they’d finally be honest about who they’re really cheering for.
