The Smithsonian Institution should be the proud keeper of America’s past—yet today, it’s become the latest playground for liberal elites to push their shame agenda. Taxpayers spend billions to fund these museums, thinking the Smithsonian will preserve our victories, our heroes, and our hard-won freedoms. Instead, the current leadership isn’t just rewriting our story—they’re smearing our legacy with endless guilt and blame.
These “woke” bureaucrats see their job as one giant therapy session, trying to convince every American to feel sorry for loving their country. They obsess over every flaw in our history, ignoring the greatness that built the very buildings they now occupy. Instead of teaching respect for our Founders, they’d rather spotlight every misstep, no matter how small, or cry about who they think history left behind. Do they ever stop to consider that their paychecks are only possible BECAUSE of the sacrifice and vision of those very Americans they now despise?
It’s not just dishonesty—it’s hypocrisy. These are the same liberals who lecture us about “disinformation,” then twist every exhibit to promote their political views. They smile for the cameras talking about inclusivity, but only if you agree with their narrative. Anything remotely patriotic gets buried, while divisive topics are celebrated. Clearly, the mission isn’t to preserve history. The real goal is to indoctrinate the public with an America-hating agenda—on our dime.
What makes it worse? The Smithsonian belongs to every citizen, not just the “enlightened” few who fancy themselves morally superior. Yet this powerful institution has been hijacked by globalist thinkers who see American success as a problem instead of a legacy. They lecture us from marble halls paid for by hardworking Americans, dripping with contempt for the very country that gives them opportunity and wealth.
Isn’t it time we take back the Smithsonian from those who want to tear our nation down? The American people deserve a museum that stands up for our history—warts and all—without rewriting every chapter to fit a left-wing playbook. If these elites can’t do the job, maybe it’s time they pack up their biases and leave. Why should Americans bankroll people who hate the very place that made all of this possible?
