Democrats love to preach about “believing women”—except when it’s inconvenient for their own power games. Just look at the latest trainwreck. Maine Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner stands accused of another disturbing act, and all those radical progressives who boosted him? Suddenly, they’re tripping over themselves to distance and deflect. The truth is, this mess never would’ve happened if Democrats vetted their own candidates half as hard as they go after Republicans over phony witch hunts.
Now even John Fetterman, a Democrat trying to play the “reasonable moderate” card, is lashing out at his own party. He’s calling out the beloved Bernie Sanders, who basically rolled out the red carpet for Platner, helping a suspected predator step into the spotlight just because he fit the socialist mold. And it’s not just about one shady endorsement—this is a party-wide disaster, exposing the hollow virtue signaling the left peddles every election cycle. They were all too happy to look the other way, until the latest accusation made it impossible to ignore.
It’s all typical Democrat hypocrisy. Backroom deals are already in motion, with Maine’s party bosses plotting to swap Platner out for a hand-picked stooge if he drops out before the July deadline. This so-called “democratic process” means party insiders get to pick whoever they want—no input from the people, no transparency, just power-hungry elitists pulling strings. Remember how they forced Biden and Harris onto their ticket, stifling any real competition? Same playbook. The left loves “democracy” so much, they ignore the voters every chance they get.
Let’s be honest: If this were a Republican, there would already be howling demands for resignations and round-the-clock media coverage. But when one of their own falls, Democrats scramble behind closed doors, hoping to sweep it all under the rug. The American people see right through this charade. They’re tired of the two-faced virtue posturing, the endless lectures about morals, from a party that can’t clean up its own house.
Democrats can wave all the rainbow flags and chant all the slogans they want, but when the chips are down, they serve their own power first—justice and accountability come dead last. So here’s the big question: If the left can’t root out corruption in their own ranks, why should Americans trust them with anything—let alone the future of this country?
