Let’s get one thing straight: the left can’t stand it when something goes right for America—especially if President Trump had anything to do with it. This week, Team USA finally got justice in the World Cup mess, and what’s the left doing? Sulking, whining, rolling their eyes. No parades, no cheers, not one ounce of pride for our country. Why? Because Trump helped fix a rigged system that should never have hurt our team in the first place.
Liberal elites talk a big game about “fairness” and “justice.” But when a clear injustice threatens our athletes on the world stage, they’d rather complain about Trump than support our own. Trump saw the problem, called out the international soccer bureaucrats, and made sure Team USA was treated with the respect we deserve. The left hates this because they care more about their own politics than the nation’s success.
It’s honestly embarrassing to see these so-called “progressives” care more about global approval than the stars and stripes. If it were up to the left, we’d let foreign interests trample over American athletes while they sat in their smug little bubbles tweeting about “inclusivity” and “global unity.” All that nonsense does is undermine our country while boosting the globalists who want to tear us down.
Here’s the real truth: the American left can’t stand a patriotic win—especially one delivered by someone like Trump. They’d rather see the country lose than admit he was right about anything. They’ll bend over backward to justify any wrong done to Team USA if it gives them another excuse to bash the former president and moan about so-called “American arrogance.”
What’s more un-American than refusing to cheer for your country just because you don’t like the guy who led the charge? Only a leftist could look at Team USA’s victory, see Trump’s hand in it, and decide to root against our own. It’s pathetic, it’s childish, and it proves what we already know: the left’s loyalty will always be with their ideology, never with the United States.
So keep whining, lefties. True Americans know who to cheer for—and it’s certainly not the sore losers who put their politics above their country. God bless Team USA, and God bless leaders who aren’t afraid to fight for the red, white, and blue. Maybe the left should try rooting for America for once. But do they even remember how?
