Democrats are in shambles in Maine, and let’s be honest—no one is surprised. Their top Senate pick, Graham Platner, is neck-deep in new rape allegations, and now the left is scrambling. The so-called party of “morality” is once again exposed, with nervous donors and politicians tripping over themselves to pull their endorsements. Watching Democrats panic is a treat for anyone who’s sick of their two-faced politics.
Their alleged solution? Just pluck another loyal leftist out of the swamp and try to jam him down voters’ throats. This time they’re floating Nirva Shah, a failed CDC boss from the Biden era, as their savior. Never mind that he never bothered to run or even put his name on the ballot. This is pure Democrat playbook—ignore the voters and install whoever their D.C. puppet-masters want. Democracy only matters to them when they’re winning.
Remember how badly the CDC performed under Biden? Americans were bullied with mandates and threatened with losing their jobs if they didn’t march in line with so-called “science.” For the left, freedom means nothing if it stands in the way of government power. And now they want to parachute that same clown show into Maine’s Senate race. Classic.
Let’s not forget: Platner, the voters’ “choice,” raked in almost 80 percent in the primary—a landslide among Democrats. But that doesn’t matter to their establishment elites. If the people’s pick becomes a headache, the machine hustles for a replacement, transparency be damned. This is what today’s Democrat Party looks like: corrupt, arrogant, and obsessed with control.
The reality is simple. With a weak, scandal-drenched nominee or a CDC bureaucrat nobody wanted, Maine Democrats are toast. Senator Susan Collins has nothing to worry about—especially with Trump’s America First agenda on the line this November. Maybe the Democrats should spend less time picking losers and more time listening to regular Americans. But we all know that’s never going to happen.
