America’s children finally have a shot at real financial freedom, and, predictably, Democrats are tripping over themselves trying to block their way. With the launch of the Trump Accounts and the “One Big Beautiful Bill,” every newborn in America is starting life with $1,000 invested straight into the stock market. Kids ten and under are even getting a generous private top-off, thanks to the Dell family—not the government. If a family puts in the max each year, their child could have $170,000 by age 18, and close to $700,000 by 35. That’s not just a nest egg. That’s a ticket out of poverty, college debt, and government dependency.
So why would Democrat Bennie Thompson urge families to skip this windfall? Simple. He and the left would rather keep families down and dependent. They’re terrified that American kids might grow up with financial independence—because who would need endless handouts from Big Government then? Empowering families threatens their power. That’s the dirty little secret the left doesn’t want you to know.
The hypocrisy is staggering. Democrats love to talk about “equity” and “lifting up the next generation.” But when a Republican plan comes along that could genuinely change the game for working families, suddenly they want you to stay away from it. It’s almost like they want to make sure parents and kids have to beg politicians for scraps forever. They’ll do anything to keep generational wealth out of your reach. For themselves and their donors—sure. For you? Never.
Don’t forget—these are the same politicians who talk endlessly about taxing investments and wanting to seize wealth they think doesn’t belong to “the people.” You can bet they’re already plotting new taxes and ways to nibble away at these Trump Accounts. Just look at how they went after anti-weaponization funds: slap a 100% tax on any payout and call it “fairness.” It’s government greed, pure and simple.
And the worst part? These are the same folks who cheer for abortion and want to destroy the traditional family. Now, they’re actively pushing American parents to turn down free money for their kids. There’s no difference between putting politics ahead of your child’s future and selling out your own family’s prosperity. Why would anyone trust Democrats with their children’s future when they don’t even want kids to have a fair shot at real wealth?
Here’s the truth: Trump Accounts are a win for every American family—and the left hates that. Maybe that’s why their top tactic right now is fear, fake “advice,” and lies. They just can’t stand to see regular Americans get ahead without them.
Why on earth would anyone still vote for people who want your kids to have less?
