Democrats Prove It: They’ll Excuse Anything for Power
Democrats have spent years wagging their fingers at Republicans, branding everyone on the right as secretly “Nazis” or “Hitlers” for so much as a hand gesture or a bad meme. But the minute one of their own—Graham Platner—shows up with Nazi death camp imagery tattooed across his chest, suddenly it’s no big deal. Overnight, the same hysterical pearl-clutchers became experts at excuse-making. They fell all over themselves trying to justify it. Maybe he was just “ignorant.” Maybe it was just a “mistake.” Who really cares, as long as he’s helping the Democrats grab more power in D.C.?
Let’s not forget what else Platner brought to the table: a trail of disturbing online rants that would’ve ended any Republican’s career before lunchtime. You name it—hatred of police, contempt for rural Americans (“racist and backward,” in his view), praise for communist thugs, and sick advice for sexual assault survivors to just “take responsibility for themselves.” Even more disgusting, he cheered on the tactics of Hamas killers and trashed his own fellow soldiers—all while dishonoring the uniform he once wore. For more than a decade, Platner spewed this venom, but Democrats who destroy college kids over old Halloween costumes went silent.
The double standard is obvious. Democrat “leaders”—from Senate bigwigs to their media lackeys—quickly fell in line, brushing aside the Reddit filth, minimizing rape allegations, and shrugging at Nazi symbolism. They practically bent themselves into human pretzels to say Platner “admitted his mistakes” or just needed “grace.” Elizabeth Warren and her crowd didn’t even blink before lining up to endorse him, supporting this disaster of a candidate until it finally became politically impossible to keep defending him.
It gets even sicker. The oh-so-feminist “Believe All Women” crowd, who torched Brett Kavanaugh over high school parties, now claims there’s “no evidence” of violence when it’s their progressive darling in trouble. Democrat senators openly said they didn’t care about Platner’s scandals, because winning the Senate mattered more. Even the leftist activists who built their entire careers on #MeToo lined up behind Platner or blamed his accusers for daring to speak out. Turns out, “believe women” only applies if you’re accusing a Republican.
This is the true face of today’s Democrat Party: principles set aside the minute they threaten power. They’ll cover for abusers, excuse Nazi symbols, and ignore hate-filled rants—if that helps them stack Congress and the White House with more leftists. Their moralizing is a joke. Their outrage has an asterisk. Their only real value is winning at any cost, no matter how low they have to sink.
If they’ll excuse Platner, there’s nothing they won’t excuse. How many more red flags will America ignore before the Democrats finally admit what everyone else can plainly see—that for them, only power matters? The mask is off.
