While Whoopi scrambles around Sicily trying to find a flight back home, real Americans are working hard, showing up day after day, and dealing with the mess that liberal elites like her helped create. Not a single airport in her fancy vacation spot had a plan for volcanic ash? It just shows how these internationalist dreams fall to ashes—literally and figuratively—when you count on global bureaucrats to keep things running smoothly. If Whoopi thinks the rest of the world does things better than America, she should take a close look at her own weeklong detour.
Meanwhile, folks back home get another break from The View’s endless parade of woke talking points and anti-American rants. Of course, her co-host—another reliable champion of every failed Democrat policy—was all too happy to fill her seat and keep the echo chamber going. These media elites love to wag their finger at hardworking Americans from their lavish European getaways, but when they’re thrown into a little chaos abroad, suddenly it’s all panic and confusion.
The whole fiasco is another clear example of liberal hypocrisy and entitlement. They jet off to exotic locations, then act shocked when reality intrudes.
