Two Supreme Court Justices—Amy Coney Barrett and Elena Kagan—are about to get grilled on Capitol Hill, and the timing says it all. Congress claims they just want to talk budgets, but everyone knows that whenever our unelected elites in black robes face lawmakers, the real agenda is for power-hungry politicians to flex their muscles and look “tough” for their radical base. You can bet the left is just itching for another shot to undermine the legitimacy of the Court, especially after getting schooled on recent decisions defending America’s founding values.
Of course, the main topic is money. The Supreme Court reportedly wants an extra $14 million—mainly for security. And who can blame them? With the left’s open-season attitude toward anyone in public life who won’t kneel to wokeness, security is no joke. Yet the same liberals who cheer mobs outside justices’ homes now pretend to care about the public purse, acting outraged about ‘costs’ while they casually rubber-stamp billions for Democrat pet projects and globalist schemes. What a crock.
Funny enough, nothing really earth-shattering is expected from these hearings. Most of the questions will probably circle around spreadsheets and building repairs. Don’t hold your breath for any “gotcha” moments—unless, of course, some showboating Democrat tries to turn the spotlight on the Court’s recent rulings. After all, they’re still fuming over conservative wins on issues like women’s sports. The left can cry all they want, but Americans can see through this performative outrage.
Meanwhile, swirling rumors and media blunders about possible retirements on the Court reveal how desperate the left has become. Anyone else notice how every time they can’t get their way at the ballot box or bench, they reach for the panic button and push fake news out into the world? The drive-by press keeps peddling fantasy scenarios, but there isn’t a single justice packing their bags anytime soon. Sorry, liberals—no fresh seats for Joe Biden or his puppet-masters to fill.
And let’s not forget President Trump cracking a joke about putting Sen. Ted Cruz on the Supreme Court—sending the D.C. establishment into meltdown mode. The prospect of a real conservative, constitutional firebrand on the bench scares the left senseless, and that’s exactly how you know it’s a great idea. If only every “solution” from Congress protected our freedoms like that. Maybe instead of lecturing justices about their security budget, lawmakers should focus on defending the Supreme Court from the real threats: leftist mobs and anti-American radicals running rampant in their own party.
Because when the people who hate America the most try to lecture our highest court, who’s really on trial here?
