The Supreme Court just wrapped up its 2026 term, and Americans have every reason to feel shortchanged. While there were some solid wins for the Constitution, two major blunders make this court look weak, wobbly, and dangerously out of touch. If the Supreme Court were in school, it’d be bringing home a shameful C-minus—and only because it managed to show up for a couple of important tests.
Let’s start with the good news. The justices stood strong for the Second Amendment. In a major case, they shot down Hawaii’s relentless attempts to attack concealed carry rights. Hawaii tried to make carrying a firearm almost impossible, but the Court smacked them down. Even better, they blocked a scheme that could have made owning a gun illegal for anyone who ever took prescription meds, no matter how harmless. These wins are more than legal technicalities—they’re a lifeline to America. Armed citizens and real freedom go hand in hand, and for once, liberal bureaucrats got told to back off.
The Court also showed some backbone protecting women and girls in sports. Liberal activists have spent years trying to wipe out women’s athletics under the fake banner of “inclusion.” But the justices made it clear: girls’ sports are for biological girls. That’s what Title IX always meant. This is common sense Americans have demanded for years, and finally, the Court listened. Maybe for a brief moment, the voice of reason drowned out the screeching from woke special interests.
The justices even managed to do something right about the President’s power. They recognized the President’s real authority over immigration—not unelected judges, not activist lawyers, and definitely not foreign nationals on a temporary visa. That’s what the Constitution actually says. Plus, they pushed back against the swampy nonsense of “independent agencies” running wild, reaffirming that the executive branch should answer to the person Americans actually vote for.
But then came the disasters—proof that lurking deep in the Supreme Court is still the virus of liberal weakness. On election integrity, the justices had a chance to draw a line in the sand and defend the foundation of American democracy. Instead, they turned their backs on voters. Blowing off clear law, they signed off on Mississippi’s scheme to count ballots for days after Election Day. This kind of loophole is exactly what opened the door for chaos and fraud in 2020. All it does is give Democrats time to find the votes they need, while red states like Florida have to play by the rules. It’s unfair, dangerous, and exactly the kind of split standard that makes Americans lose faith in elections.
The Court’s biggest failure, though, is its refusal to end the ultimate magnet for illegal immigration: blanket birthright citizenship. Instead of standing with American workers and the rule of law, the justices sided with Democratic globalists. They clung to an outdated reading of the Fourteenth Amendment, letting illegal entrants continue having children who instantly become citizens. This was never what the framers wanted. Even Abraham Lincoln’s allies said so. But the Court ignored history and the very text of the law. Now, the door remains wide open for chain migration, anchor babies, and eventually, the complete erasure of national borders by judicial fiat. Justice Barrett and Chief Justice Roberts, who claim to be conservatives, handed this country over to open-border radicals.
Decisions like these aren’t small errors—they put the future of the nation at risk. While the Court flexed a backbone on guns, girls’ sports, and presidential power, it utterly failed where it mattered most. Americans deserve a Supreme Court that defends their voice at the ballot box and protects citizenship for those truly loyal to the United States. Instead, the court’s “moderates” sided with left-wing interests that want to transform America forever. How many more betrayals like this can the republic survive before the Supreme Court’s report card ends up an F for failed country?
