Trump Wants to Hand America’s Deadliest Jets to a Dictator—What Could Go Wrong

President Trump loves to talk about “America First.” It’s his signature line and voters love it. But if he really means it, why would he even consider selling our top-secret F-35 jets to Turkey? Especially when that country’s leader, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has made it clear he’s no friend to America—or freedom.

Erdogan plays tough, but he’s not tough on our side. Under his rule, Turkey has cozied up to Russia, bullied American allies, and stomped on human rights at home. Yet Trump seems almost blinded by their so-called “friendship.” Sorry, but Erdogan is exactly the kind of leader we should be worried about—not handing over our best military technology.

Letting Turkey buy F-35s is like giving the keys to your Ferrari to the neighborhood bully—right after he’s been caught sneaking across the border. It’s more than risky. It’s reckless. In the hands of Erdogan, those jets could end up serving Russian interests, or worse, used to threaten our own allies and troops. Why would we give our enemies the blueprints to our national defense?

And where’s the outrage from the left? The same liberals who cry about Trump not being tough on Russia are strangely silent when it comes to Turkey. Maybe it’s because globalists and bureaucrats always care more about cozying up to foreign powers than securing our borders or defending our people. The hypocrisy of the left knows no bounds—they’d rather hate Trump than stand up for America.

America can’t afford to gamble with our security. Trusting Erdogan with advanced jets is dangerous and dumb. If President Trump really stands for American strength, he’ll slam the door on Turkey’s F-35 dreams once and for all. If we keep putting friendship with strongmen before the safety of our own country, how long before America gets burned?
