When Democrats lose, they never own up to their failures. Instead, they blame everyone and everything—except themselves. That’s exactly what just happened in Texas, where Jasmine Crockett, a radical liberal, couldn’t accept defeat in the Democrat Senate primary. Instead of graciously stepping aside, she cried racism, proving yet again that the left is addicted to playing the race card.
James Talarico, another Democrat, beat Crockett fair and square. But Crockett didn’t pause to reflect on her unpopular ideas or acknowledge that voters simply wanted someone else. No, she instantly pulled out the old, tired race narrative and claimed the entire election was rigged against her because of her skin color. This is the modern left at work: when their policies fail, when voters reject them, they scream “racist” at their own side.
It’s rich for Democrats to accuse their own party of racism. These are the same politicians who spend years lecturing the rest of America about tolerance, diversity, and acceptance. But when the chips are down and the ballots don’t go their way, they turn on each other with the same nasty labels they use against conservatives. If the Democrats’ own primaries are so riddled with racism, maybe the real problem is inside their own party.
This shameless spectacle shows how desperate and out-of-touch leftist politicians have become. They can’t run on their record. They can’t run on their radical ideas. All they can do is weaponize identity politics to cover up their own failures. Their supporters keep screaming about “systemic racism,” yet nobody asks if maybe, just maybe, Americans are tired of being told that every political outcome hinges on skin color.
At what point do Democrats stop blaming the world and look in the mirror? It’s getting hard to tell if the real “racist race” is the one in the voting booth—or the race among Democrats to see who can claim victimhood the fastest.
