NYC Snubs Little Italy Liberals Erase Italian Americans from Immigrant History Map

If you want to see what left-wing priorities really look like, look no further than New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s latest stunt. The so-called “Immigrant Enclaves” map, unveiled by his administration, manages to highlight dozens of ethnic neighborhoods all across the city—except for Little Italy. That’s right, the very heart of Italian-American history in New York gets tossed aside like yesterday’s trash.

Little Italy stands as a powerful symbol of America’s immigrant story: hard work, family values, and the pursuit of the American Dream. But for this liberal administration? Not worth recognizing. Apparently, if you’re not the “right” kind of immigrant—or don’t fit the trendy woke narrative—your history doesn’t count. It’s cultural erasure, plain and simple.

This is exactly what happens when progressive elites run things. They pretend to celebrate diversity while they pick and choose which cultures deserve respect. Forget about honoring the generations of Italian-Americans who built businesses, families, and vibrant communities. The left is too busy rewriting history to fit their own agenda.

What’s next? Scrubbing every trace of European Americans from the city map? Maybe leftists would rather we forgot that America is a nation built by people from all backgrounds, who came here legally and worked their way up. Little Italy isn’t just a tourist stop—it’s proof that real immigrants loved this country and worked hard for a better life.

Once again, liberal leadership shows their true colors: ignore tradition, erase American history, and divide people by race and grievance. At the end of the day, what’s so threatening about acknowledging Little Italy? Or is it just that real American success stories don’t fit in the woke playbook?
