Left cheers as conservative leader assassinated top Democrat refuses to condemn political violence

Charlie Kirk was gunned down on a college campus, targeted for his conservative beliefs, and the left cheered. Tyler Robinson, the man now accused of assassinating Kirk at Utah Valley University, didn’t even try to hide his hatred. He chose violence because he wanted to silence a young man whose message was too dangerous for the radical left: faith, patriotism, respect for our Constitution.

But the left’s reaction since that bloody day goes beyond shameful. As prosecutors present DNA and video evidence in a court of law, Democrat hopefuls and their friends in the media have been too busy mocking the victim. College kids dress as a “bloody Charlie Kirk” for Halloween. Others re-enact the murder outside of conservative events, screaming about “hate speech” as if opinions they dislike are a justification for murder. The so-called tolerance crowd is now openly celebrating violence against people who disagree with them.

Look no further than Alex Vindman, the Democrat running for Senate in Florida. Nine days after Kirk’s assassination, Vindman jumped onto social media—not to condemn political violence, not to offer sympathy to Charlie’s widow and young children, but to spit venom onto Kirk’s legacy. Instead of a simple statement against the hate that destroyed a family, he accused Kirk of poisoning minds and peddling lies. He scrawled over a memorial drafted by Republicans, mocking the idea that Charlie was ever a courageous patriot, and painted him as some kind of villain. Did Vindman ever denounce what happened, or reach out to the grieving family? Not once.

And Vindman isn’t alone. His wife, Rachel, decided it was funny to mock President Trump after a failed assassination attempt, casually shrugging off the violence as no big deal. The left’s mask is slipping, and the contempt for conservatives is impossible to ignore. They think some people deserve to be targeted, harassed, or worse—simply for thinking differently. Is this the “unity” the Democrats are always lecturing us about?

Florida voters should pay attention. In a state that values faith, free speech, and law and order, a Senate candidate who can’t bring himself to condemn cold-blooded murder isn’t fit for public office. Vindman and his liberal buddies have shown they don’t respect conservatives—dead or alive. Their hatred is louder than their compassion, and their lust for power clearly outweighs any respect for American values.

The American people must decide: do we want leaders who make excuses for political violence, or do we defend the rights of every citizen, even when we disagree? This November, anyone who refuses to stand up for Charlie Kirk’s right to speak doesn’t deserve a single vote. Florida is too great for cowards who cheer when their enemies fall.
