It’s all under a fancy new program called “Golden State Start.” Doesn’t that just sound like more California double-speak? Newsom and his team made a huge show of this right before Mother’s Day, hoping to score some easy political points. But let’s be honest—this isn’t really about helping families. It’s the same old liberal playbook: throw taxpayer money around, brag about “affordability,” and distract from actually fixing the messes Democrats keep making.
