When a DoorDash gig turns into a political tantrum, you know the radical Left has lost its grip on reality. In a wild show of self-righteousness, a Buffalo-area delivery driver decided her “feelings” about a local DHS detention center mattered more than actually doing her job. Instead of simply dropping off food and moving on like a responsible adult, she repeatedly canceled orders destined for the facility—then bragged about donating the orders to a food pantry. If you think that’s activism, think again. It’s petty theft, plain and simple.
DoorDash, unsurprisingly, pulled the plug on her account. The company made it clear: refusing deliveries based on personal politics and giving away other people’s food is not just a violation of company policy, but basic decency. Funny how the woke crowd loves to virtue signal about compassion while robbing others under the thin excuse of “activism.” It’s all about the spectacle with these people—snapping photos, posting about their deeds, and waiting for a pile of likes from their echo chamber buddies.
These kinds of stunts are becoming the calling card of today’s Left. We’ve all seen doctors, bakers, and store clerks stand on their soapboxes, boasting about refusing service to conservatives or anyone associated with law enforcement or border security. Stop pretending this is about morals. It’s political grandstanding, fueled by a bizarre hatred for anything that reminds them America still has laws, borders, and the right to enforce them.
Let’s be honest—the radical Left wants to decide who is worthy of basic services in this country based on their warped worldviews. If you support border security, you’re labeled a “Nazi.” If you work for DHS, you’re not just disagreeable—you’re inhuman, apparently deserving to go hungry. That isn’t progress. That’s discrimination wrapped up in a social justice bow.
While one activist Dasher now finds herself with a lot more free time, the wheels of law and order keep turning. DHS detention centers will still get their food orders, just from people who care more about working than whining. Maybe next time, the woke crowd should remember: employers want employees, not part-time revolutionaries looking for their next social media moment. If these people ran the country, would anyone still have a job?
