Texas police threaten Christians for preaching at Pride Fest is free speech dead in the Lone Star State

Something is very wrong in Texas when police threaten to punish Christians for sharing their beliefs. That’s exactly what happened in Fort Worth, where two officers decided freedom of speech meant nothing if someone gets their feelings hurt. Their target? A street preacher and a former federal employee—both men just using their voices at Trinity Pride Fest.

This isn’t California or New York. This is Texas. But apparently, even here, the new rule is you better toe the liberal line or keep your mouth shut. The left and their allies in law enforcement now think they get to decide which words are acceptable in public. If your faith or opinions make someone “uncomfortable,” they’ll wave around made-up charges to force you silent. Gone is the idea that Americans can actually speak their minds—even in a state built on freedom and faith.

With every new attack on Christianity, the double standard grows. If this were a drag performer, Black Lives Matter activist, or left-wing rabble-rouser, you’d never see police threatening them for “offending” anyone. But talk about traditional values or question the pride agenda, and suddenly you’re a criminal. The left preaches “tolerance,” but only for ideas they agree with. Their answer for everything else? Censorship and scare tactics.

You have to wonder who these police are really answering to. Is it the citizens of Texas who believe in liberty? Or is it radical activists and their globalist backers, trying to shut down any voice that stands for God and country? The Constitution doesn’t care about someone’s delicate feelings. It promises every American the right to speak, even when that speech “offends” the woke mob.

If Texans don’t fight back, it won’t just be preachers getting silenced. Anyone who doesn’t kneel to the new leftist order will be next. So what’s it going to be, Texas? Are we brave enough to defend free speech—or do we just let the bullies keep winning?
