Jen Psaki’s Crocodile Tears Over Graham Platner Are a Joke
The left wants everyone to believe they’re shocked by Graham Platner, that his long, disgraceful record was some big surprise. That’s a laugh. This is the same crowd that’s spent years smearing every single Republican candidate as a Nazi or a fascist. Yet when it came to an actual proud display of Nazi symbolism—yes, Platner’s tattoo is as obvious as it gets—suddenly, they all clammed up and played dumb.
The media can pretend they “didn’t see it coming,” but they poured everything into boosting Platner, just because they wanted to take out one of the few sensible voices in the Senate: Susan Collins. Democrats and their media lapdogs have spent years calling Collins a monster, claiming she hates women, calling her a fascist, all while ignoring the actual extremist behavior coming from Platner himself. Did Psaki—or any of her so-called journalist friends—ever bother to fact-check the endless stream of lies from Platner’s campaign? Of course not. All they cared about was attacking anyone to the right of Bernie Sanders.
And what about Platner’s revolting past? This is a guy who spent years spewing filth online, encouraging suicide, trashing cops, openly mocking rural voters, and bragging about his communist views. He made Susan Collins out to be some cartoon villain, while he was hiding a suitcase of dirty laundry that any real reporter could find in ten seconds. Psaki loves to posture about listening to voters, but she, along with other libs in the media, either ignored or excused everything ugly about their chosen candidate. When multiple women came forward with stories of abuse, even rape allegations, the left yawned—or worse, spun the victims as partisans.
“Believe all women” goes out the window fast when the accused is a liberal favorite. The Jeffery Epsteins and Harvey Weinsteins of the world have always gotten better treatment in liberal circles, and Platner fits right in. Even when his ex shared how he allegedly abused her, liberal outlets and the so-called “Me Too” crowd looked away or tried to make her seem politically motivated. Apparently, if you check all the progressive boxes, you can get away with almost anything.
And let’s be real: it’s not Platner’s disgusting actions that have Psaki and her friends fuming—it’s the fact that Mainers are waking up and Democrats are about to lose the Senate race. Watching the left trip over themselves to defend Platner, while screaming that everyone they disagree with is the real fascist, is almost funny if it wasn’t so dangerous. These people would back anyone—anyone—with a (D) next to their name, even if the evidence of evil is tattooed on their chest.
Democrats are panicking, not because they suddenly grew a conscience, but because they know their latest anti-Collins stunt backfired. If this is their idea of a “political hero,” maybe it’s time they all took a good look in the mirror. Maine deserves better than this, and so does America.
