Democrats in Maine are scrambling. Their handpicked Senate nominee, Graham Platner, just threw in the towel and suspended his campaign. Now, instead of a real plan, all they’ve got is chaos and a mad dash to find another candidate—even if that means putting up someone who can’t even handle a basic interview.
Let’s not kid ourselves: this is classic liberal incompetence in action. The Democratic Party claims to be the party of ideas, but the minute their chosen “rising star” drops out, they’re left clueless and desperate. They don’t have a bench of competent people ready to step up—they have a parade of wannabes, and apparently the best they can do can barely string together a coherent answer on live TV.
But should anyone really be surprised? This is the same crowd that let Joe Biden stumble his way through presidential debates and still called him “sharp.” The machine doesn’t want leaders; it wants puppets who repeat the talking points. Wooden answers, awkward pauses, and mumbling through softball questions—this is the Democrat standard these days.
Out-of-touch leftists are so focused on political power and appealing to every radical group that they forget what matters: competence, leadership, and putting America first. Instead, they lurch from one disaster to the next, pushing anyone forward as long as they toe the woke line.
Americans deserve better. Maine deserves better. How much longer will voters keep playing along with the circus, just because the Democrats say so? If liberals can’t even choose a candidate who’s ready for primetime, why trust them to run the show at any level?
