Federal Court Crushes Special Tuition Deals for Illegals Texas Says Enough Is Enough

The radical left thought they could sneak another win for illegal aliens under the nose of Texas. Not this time. A federal court finally slammed the brakes on the nonsense idea that people who broke our laws to get here deserve the same college tuition breaks as our own legal citizens. For years, liberals have bent over backwards to hand out in-state tuition to illegal immigrants while hardworking Americans from Iowa or Nebraska get slapped with sky-high out-of-state prices. That game is over—for now, at least.

This never should have gone as far as it did. Everyone with a brain knows you can’t just break into someone’s home and then demand the same treatment as the people who actually belong there. But left-wing activists don’t care about the law; they care about open borders and new voting blocs. They smeared anyone who objected as cruel or racist, conveniently ignoring the fact that giving taxpayer breaks to people here illegally is a slap in the face to every American who plays by the rules.

The whining coming out of campus activists and so-called “advocacy groups” is deafening. Groups tried to file legal briefs, pushing to keep the gravy train rolling for illegal students. Their sob stories tug at heartstrings, but at the end of the day, the law is the law. You can’t just ignore federal rules because it’s emotionally convenient for your pet cause. That’s how sanctuary cities and border chaos started in the first place. Liberals care more about feelings than facts—and that’s why the country is such a mess.

Let’s be real: handouts for illegals aren’t just “generous.” They create incentives for even more illegal crossings, turning American colleges into sanctuaries instead of places for our own deserving students. Why should someone in California or New York pay more for the same education than someone who snuck in illegally? If campus activists are so passionate, maybe it’s time for a deeper look at who exactly is benefiting on those rolling Texas lawns. If law enforcement did their job, those dorms would probably empty real quick.

Texas stood up for its own today. But this ruling shouldn’t be controversial—it’s common sense. Cross a border illegally? Face the consequences. That’s not harsh—that’s justice. The left can cry all they want, but most Americans are tired of mass amnesty and want real accountability. The days of rewarding lawbreakers need to end. If only the rest of the country had the spine Texas showed this week—maybe we’d still have a country worth protecting.
