When are liberals going to wake up and realize that not every country plays by the same rules as America? The latest headline about a so-called “pride cruise” getting turned away from not one, but two Islamic nations—Turkey and Egypt—should be a giant flashing warning sign. But will the left actually pay attention? Of course not. They’re too busy pretending Islam is just another peaceful, tolerant faith, right up there with their favorite pagan rituals or drag queen story hour.
Here’s reality in all its ugly truth: this cruise, filled with over 2,000 gay men and celebrities was set for a Mediterranean party. First stop, Istanbul. Slammed shut. So they try Alexandria in Egypt instead. Once again—door slammed in their faces. Now the passengers are confused, angry, and hurt. Maybe they genuinely believed those Diversity and Inclusion seminars mattered outside of U.S. college campuses. Maybe they thought their rainbow flags magically erased centuries of strict religious law.
What’s wild is that these activists and their jet-setting friends never seem to connect the dots. The modern left loves to shout about tolerance, paint American conservatives as the bad guys, and cozy up to radical anti-Western ideologies. Have they forgotten that in places like Egypt and Turkey, being openly gay is not just frowned upon—it can get you thrown in jail, or worse? Western values like freedom of expression and true equality don’t just happen everywhere by default. They’re a gift of Christian heritage and American grit, not some inevitable human evolution.
The left’s hypocrisy is clear as day. They crow about standing with “the oppressed” across the world, but blindly ignore the actual oppression inside the Islamic world. While Western nations bend over backwards for every leftist demand, Islamic countries shut out the very groups liberals claim to champion. Yet liberals keep defending these regimes, even when it contradicts everything they claim to represent. Maybe they think these new allies will help them tear down the last bits of Christianity and Western identity left in America. Spoiler alert: once they’re done using you, you’ll be next.
The fact is, these entitled activists don’t realize just how free they actually are in America or Europe. They turn up their noses at Western civilization while enjoying its freedoms. They try to export their woke culture to places that will never accept it—and act shocked when reality slaps them in the face. When will they realize that America isn’t the problem? Maybe it’s their precious “diversity,” imported with open borders and blind idealism, that’s going to destroy everything they hold dear. But don’t expect them to admit it—wokeness has blinded them far past the point of common sense.
