Here was a classic socialist darling, fast-tracked by the woke elite, who imploded overnight after ugly rape accusations and talk of a swastika tattoo. His entire circle saw it coming, but the left, in their endless arrogance, cheered him on until reality slammed the door. For all their virtue-signaling, vetting apparently took a back seat.
But the real star of this rotten show is Daniel Moraff, the socialist kingmaker and heir to a toy fortune. Moraff actually believed the guy with a laundry list of scandals could win over voters. That’s not just naive, it’s dangerous. Turns out Moraff’s own skeletons are even worse. He was kicked out of a high-profile Democrat campaign after multiple women accused him of sexual misconduct. That’s right—a Me Too pariah. Yet the progressive machine kept trusting him to pick its candidates.
Summer Lee, the poster child for squad politics, had to bar Moraff from her campaign—he wasn’t even allowed at her events after complaints piled up. Justice Democrats ran for the hills, too. Makes you wonder: why did any Democrat take this guy seriously after that? Was it all about politics over people, or just more of the left’s habit of ignoring what’s inconvenient?
Moraff tried to reinvent himself at Yale Law School, then bounced back to recruit more “outsider” candidates. But wherever he goes, chaos follows. His star recruit in Nebraska took a popular strike to the ballot box, barely losing to an entrenched Republican. Still, Moraff’s strategy is clear: dress up socialists in blue-collar clothes, throw them at heartland voters, and hope no one notices the rot underneath. The left can’t help but cozy up to these types—birds of a feather flocking together.
Here’s the bottom line: the Democratic establishment keeps enabling predators and frauds, all while lecturing the rest of us about morals. They say they care, but it’s all about control, power, and pushing their failed ideology. Maybe if they spent less time policing pronouns and more time policing their own, they wouldn’t be in this mess. How many more skeletons are hiding in the socialist closet?
