Democrats in Maine are at it again, patting themselves on the back for what they call a “fair and inclusive process” to pick their next U.S. Senate nominee. Liberals love this kind of language—using nice-sounding words to paper over all their usual games. Every time Democrats talk about “inclusion” and “fairness,” you can be sure some political backroom deal is brewing.
Let’s be honest—nobody outside the Democratic inner circle really gets a say in what goes on behind closed doors. This so-called open process is just another show they put on to look virtuous while they hand-pick the candidate they think will carry water for their radical agenda. Regular Mainers, especially hardworking families and small business owners, know all too well that these political stunts never have their best interests in mind.
The left’s obsession with process isn’t about letting the voters decide. It’s about control—making sure their globalist, out-of-touch party bosses stay in the driver’s seat. Notice how “inclusive” always means bending over backward for their activist base and outside interest groups, but never listening to ordinary, patriotic citizens. The liberal elite would rather chase national headlines than actually deliver for the people of Maine.
These are the same Democrats who push open borders, high taxes, and woke policies that make life harder for regular Americans. Now they want us to believe they care about fairness? Spare us the act. Their track record is clear: empty slogans, bigger government, and a never-ending power grab at the expense of our freedoms.
This latest “fair and inclusive” circus is just more smoke and mirrors. If Democrats cared even a little bit about the will of the people, they’d stop playing games and start listening to Mainers—not the consultants and donors calling the shots. Can anyone remember the last time the Democrat party actually put America first?
