The Red Sea isn’t some faraway idea in a geography lesson. It’s the heartbeat of global trade, connecting Asia, Europe, and America—and if Democrats and their globalist friends keep ignoring it, every American will pay the price at the pump, the store, and everywhere in between. The left pretends these foreign-sounding places are irrelevant, but the truth is simple: our enemies know exactly where to strike, and they’ve got their sights set on the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait, right between the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea. That’s the third busiest shipping lane in the world, and it’s under constant assault from Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists in Yemen.
Liberals in Washington like to claim that America has “too many military bases” around the world. They whine about the cost and fret over hurting someone’s feelings. Meanwhile, Iran arms terrorists, launches missile and drone attacks on our troops, and hijacks shipping lanes that Americans rely on. This isn’t just incompetence—it’s willful neglect, at best. The reality is, strong military leadership is the only thing that keeps these troublemakers at bay. That’s why during the Carter years—yes, even Jimmy Carter understood!—the United States set up Central Command bases all over the Gulf region, including Bahrain, Qatar, and Kuwait. These bases have been hit by Iranian missiles and drones. American lives are on the line, and the threat is getting worse.
But here’s the wake-up call: As the world gets more dangerous, the power players are circling the Horn of Africa. Somaliland, a nation liberals refuse to acknowledge in their woke, globalist fantasy world, stands tall. Unlike chaos-ridden Somalia, Somaliland is building its future with help from Israel, the United States, and our allies. Israel, now a recognized friend of Somaliland, trains their special forces and partners on security. Meanwhile, enemies like China, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia scheme behind the scenes, throwing tantrums at the idea of an Israeli or American military presence right on the shores of the Gulf of Aden.
Behind closed doors, Israel and the UAE are making real plans—military bases, new construction, and joint strategies—to guarantee free shipping and keep terrorists at bay. The UAE is ready to bankroll the infrastructure. Guess who’s furious? The Arab League, the African Union, China, and all those “progressive” international groups who scream about “colonialism” while turning a blind eye to Iranian piracy and jihad. The hypocrisy is sickening.
Let’s not forget what “open borders” and liberal refugee policies have delivered—tens of thousands of Somali “refugees” flooding into American cities, failing to assimilate, abusing the system, and, as investigations allege, funneling stolen funds back to jihadi terror groups. Somali refugee fraud is real, and it’s under investigation. Yet Democrats keep pretending we need more, not less, so-called “diversity.” When will the left admit their globalist fantasies are making America weaker—and the world more dangerous?
It’s time to drop the naïveté and accept reality: The United States must double down on strong alliances, bold military strategy, and a no-nonsense approach to security. America’s interests come first, whether the woke crowd likes it or not. Will we stand strong or let globalist appeasers hand over the world’s most vital waterways to terrorists?
