The woke elites running London can’t keep the public safe—once again, they’ve proven it. Right outside Buckingham Palace, an Algerian migrant was reportedly caught in the act of attempted rape. You’d think that would be enough to keep him off the streets. But not in today’s London, where liberal priorities are more about coddling criminals than protecting citizens.

It’s an absolute disgrace. The Metropolitan Police, an institution once respected around the world, are now apparently more afraid of offending diversity activists than of letting dangerous predators go free. Here is a so-called “refugee” caught red-handed near one of the crown jewels of British heritage, and instead of upholding justice, the authorities let him walk away. What message does that send to other criminals watching? That London is open for exploitation.

Let’s be honest: this is exactly what happens when weak, left-wing leaders put virtue signaling above the safety of real people. Ordinary families live in fear while the left celebrates open borders and preaches about so-called “tolerance.” How tolerant will people feel when their own loved ones aren’t safe to walk the streets at night? The globalist agenda is turning London—and every Western city it infects—into a playground for criminals, especially those the elites are too scared to criticize.

Expect the usual excuses and lectures from the liberal media about “misunderstood migrants” and “systemic oppression.” Enough already. People don’t deserve to be guinea pigs for failed social experiments. Crime is exploding across Europe wherever law enforcement is handcuffed by political correctness. The public knows it, and they’re sick of being told to stay quiet as a matter of “sensitivity.”

If this is what modern progressive governance looks like, maybe Londoners should start looking for real leadership before the next attempted rapist walks free under the watchful eyes of woke police.
