Once again, Democrats just can’t catch a break from their own trainwreck politics. This time, Ro Khanna—California’s self-important progressive—has stepped into the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. Khanna’s latest move was to back Graham Platner, a Senate nominee in Maine. But in typical Democrat fashion, that endorsement turned toxic overnight once Platner got hit with a sickening rape allegation. Right after Khanna hyped up his next liberal hero, Platner folded and dropped out. That’s liberal “leadership” in a nutshell—a clown show that leaves their own side scrambling for damage control.
You’d think botching a Senate endorsement would give anyone some humility. But humility is a foreign concept for Khanna. Instead of owning up to his failure, he tried to change the narrative with an even more unbelievable story. Khanna starts whining about getting “detained” by Israeli settlers during a trip to the West Bank. Is this guy for real? Suddenly, his own bad judgment at home wasn’t so important—he needed another headline to distract everyone.
Let’s get this straight: Ro Khanna, sitting cozy in Congress, suddenly wants us to believe he was held up by Israeli farmers? It’s nonsense, timed just a little too perfectly. The left never misses a chance to bash Israel or score cheap points with the anti-American crowd. While Israel is fighting for survival, Khanna is virtue-signaling from his taxpayer-funded safe space. He’s quick to lecture allies abroad, but look at how he treats American victims at home—ignoring the brutal accusations against his own endorsed candidate until the public backlash was too big to hide.
What this chaos really exposes is the rot at the core of Democrat politics. They rush to promote anyone with a “D” next to their name, caring more about identity and headlines than honesty or safety. Then, when it all collapses, they deflect blame—sometimes with wild foreign tales that just fan the flames of leftist hypocrisy. It’s embarrassing. Americans are sick of politicians who cover up their incompetence with every new shiny distraction, rather than fixing the mess they created.
If this is the best the Democrats have—endorsing scandal-plagued nobodies and spinning fake international drama—is it any wonder trust in our institutions is sinking? Maybe someone should detain Khanna at home, before he tries to meddle anywhere else.
