America’s Delusional Distance from Iran’s Threats
Most Americans barely give Iran a second thought. It’s over 7,000 miles away—a dot on a map, not a neighbor. To average folks in places like Florida or Ohio, Iran might as well be on another planet. Liberals and globalist elites feed this myth, promising that if we mind our own business and “guard our borders,” the chaos in the Middle East won’t touch us. That fantasy is not only foolish—it’s dangerous.
America’s enemies count on this kind of wishful thinking. Iran isn’t just some random country flying off the rails. It’s the puppet master behind a web of terrorist proxies and regional wars, all coordinated from Tehran. If people actually paid attention, they’d see how Iran’s fingerprints are all over attacks on shipping, on Israel, on American troops, and on the global energy supply. Every time gas prices skyrocket, every time there’s chaos in the Red Sea, guess what? Iran’s revolutionaries are calling the shots.
But here’s what the left and their “experts” refuse to admit: Iran is not a normal country with normal goals. The ruling fanatics aren’t just hungry for power. They’re obsessed with an apocalyptic ideology. Their revolution is a global mission, not just a failed political experiment. Their vision is a world ruled by their twisted version of Islam—by force if necessary. Compromise? Sanctions? Diplomacy? That’s a punchline in Tehran.
Liberals love to say that if we just slap enough sanctions and talk tough, Iran will cave. That might work on countries run by rational leaders. But the Iranian regime doesn’t play by those rules. They’ll let their own people starve, crush protests, and keep right on funding terror abroad—all in the name of keeping their revolution alive. The “strategic patience” and appeasement the left pushes only make them stronger. Our weakness is their green light.
Nothing exposes this lunacy more than the nuclear issue. The left acts like Iran will treat nukes the same way everyone else does—as a way to prevent war. Wrong. For Iran’s leaders, a nuclear bomb is a holy tool to intimidate, threaten, and reshape the world order. Just imagine: a regime willing to massacre its own citizens suddenly holding the power to wipe out cities. Even if they never push the button, just having the bomb would let Iran bully anyone, anytime, anywhere—and dare the world to stop them.
The globalists claim the Middle East doesn’t “matter anymore,” but they couldn’t be more out of touch. Iran doesn’t respect borders. Oil markets, shipping lanes, allies—everything America counts on for stability—are targets for Tehran’s chaos machine. Every crisis, every spark in the region, risks turning into a wildfire because Iran is allowed to spread its poison unchecked. Yet the left would rather gamble America’s safety than admit evil exists.
The real question is: how much longer will we let arrogant, naïve leaders in Washington gamble with American security for their own utopian illusions? When will they finally wake up and put America first?
