But now, with the release of the Inspector General’s report, the true story comes into focus: the so-called “elite” Secret Service—tasked with guarding our president—failed at almost every turn, putting President Trump and his supporters at deadly risk.

Because their operators were under-trained, and their equipment broke down. Days before, local law enforcement warned the Secret Service that areas around the perimeter weren’t secure, but nothing was done. Critical intelligence was kept from the very people who were supposed to protect the president. And not a single agent was assigned to block the obvious line of sight from that rooftop—the very spot where the shooter ultimately took aim.
The government admits it lost track of more than 100 radio transmissions warning about the gunman, all while the political class swears they care about safety. If President Trump, surrounded by supposed “presidential” security, couldn’t even be warned about a sniper on a roof, what hope does the average American have when the feds are in charge? The IG’s report piles on the evidence: the Secret Service ignored threat reports, failed to share life-or-death intelligence, and bungled their own security procedures. Seven big recommendations have now been handed down, all full of training standards, coordination checklists, and new “processes.” But here’s the truth: none of these bureaucratic fixes can undo the toll of their reckless incompetence. Americans know that when the leftist establishment is confronted by a leader with courage, the system either sits back or lets chaos in through the side door. It’s no accident they get every protocol perfect for their Democrat darlings, but for President Trump? Suddenly, every mistake is just an “oops.”
The American people need to wake up. If this level of failure can happen to President Trump—right out in the open, with every eye watching—what else are they letting slip behind closed doors?
