It was supposed to be an ordinary Saturday. People were getting ready to celebrate the enduring spirit of America, while some, like those heading to Milwaukee as Republican delegates, felt that special sense of purpose. But liberals had other plans. July 13, 2024, will go down as another dark stain on the left’s shameful record, as President Donald Trump became the target of an assassination attempt. That’s right—another attack. The so-called “tolerant” crowd has returned to the politics of violence when their precious narratives lose in the court of public opinion.
While President Trump survived, only receiving minor injuries, what’s truly shocking is how we got here. For years, the leftist media and their globalist buddies have stoked hate against Trump and his supporters. They’ve called him every dirty name in the book, spinning fake stories night and day. Is it any wonder unhinged radicals think violence is justified? The elites clutch their pearls in public while winking at chaos behind the scenes. They cast Trump as the villain, then act surprised when mobs act like he is public enemy number one.
What liberals never admit is the sheer hypocrisy of their so-called “peaceful resistance.” Millions of Americans watched as cities burned in 2020, cheered on by media talking heads and progressives in Congress. Now, when a former (and perhaps future) President faces real danger, the calls for “calm” come far too late. Where were these warnings when violence was growing—when threats against Trump supporters skyrocketed, and conservative voices found themselves censored and silenced?
Let’s not forget, President Trump doesn’t just stand for himself. He is a symbol for all Americans who are tired of globalist control, out-of-touch elites, and the sneering contempt of the left. Every threat against him is a threat against the heart of the nation. The left wants Americans afraid to speak up, afraid to vote, afraid to show pride in their country. Every day, they try to intimidate us with scare tactics, censorship, and now, disgraceful violence.
Enough is enough. Conservatives won’t be silent, and they certainly won’t bow to the mob. Trump’s survival is proof that the spirit of American patriotism refuses to die, no matter how many times the left tries to snuff it out. How many more times must we see their double standards, their cowardice, and their failure to defend law and order before patriots everywhere rise up and say: No more?
