While everyday Californians face skyrocketing crime and homelessness, the state’s top legal minds are apparently too busy flexing their anti-business muscles in Hollywood. Their lawsuit claims this $81 billion deal would squash competition and endanger jobs in the entertainment industry. But let’s be honest—when have Democrat leaders ever cared about real competition? These are the same folks who love cozy government monopolies and want to micromanage every industry from tech to energy.

What’s really happening? Democrat elites are terrified of losing their grip on the narrative machine that is Hollywood. When businesses like Paramount and Warner Bros.
