Democrats have a funny way of showing their so-called love for democracy. For years, they’ve trashed the will of voters, tossing out decisions they didn’t like. Remember when Americans across the country stood up to define marriage as between a man and a woman? Liberals just swept in, used activist judges, and stomped all over those results. So much for “power to the people.”
Now, in 2024 and beyond, the hypocrisy is off the charts. When Joe Biden looked like dead weight for their party, Democrats didn’t let voters decide. They dumped him for Kamala Harris—someone who couldn’t even win a primary—ignoring their own supposed rules. And in Maine, the same playbook: as soon as Graham Platner’s scandals made him unpalatable, Democrats yanked their own pick right after the people spoke at the ballot box. The message is clear—if the voters pick wrong, leftists just swap in their favorite. That’s not democracy. That’s backroom power-grabbing.
Meanwhile, Bernie Sanders and his gang run around accusing President Trump and conservatives of being threats to democracy. Give us a break. Look at who’s obsessed with court-packing, abolishing the Senate, and handing unchecked power to Congress. It’s the Democrats and their socialist allies, not any Republican. They talk about resisting tyranny, while plotting to control every branch of government and beat back anyone who stands in their way.
Don’t forget—the same Democrats who cry about “authoritarianism” never spare a second to weaponize the government against people who won’t parrot their agenda. They’re already dreaming up new ways to force their ideas down America’s throat. You disagree? Suddenly you’re a criminal, canceled, or denied basic stuff like a job or a home. The left’s “tolerance” has an expiration date, and it always comes at the expense of real freedom.
So when Bernie Sanders claims President Trump is the one who doesn’t believe in democracy, it’s a joke. The only “crime” Trump committed is daring to champion America First and win the popular vote in 2024. For liberals, democracy only counts if their side wins, and if not, they’ll just rig the process to make sure they get their way. Remind us again—who are the real tyrants here?
