Get ready for more rules, more restrictions, and fewer choices—all wrapped up in a bow of “protecting the children.”
Apparently, the European elites just can’t stand the idea of people, especially American teens, thinking for themselves online. Now they want to slap new age limits on social media use, like some kind of global digital curfew. Who asked these bureaucrats to decide what’s best for American families or kids across the ocean? The truth is, globalists never miss a chance to grab more power and tighten their grip on speech and tech, all while feigning compassion.
It’s almost laughable. These European technocrats, who can’t even agree on basic border policy or fix their own economies, have appointed themselves the global referees of childhood development and internet culture. They trust government panels and faceless committees over moms, dads, and local communities. Liberals will shout about “choice” when it fits their agenda, but the minute Americans want to decide how to raise their kids or use the internet, suddenly it’s time for more laws and lessons from Brussels.
So, are Americans really supposed to bow down to distant Eurocrats and their matronly lectures about how our kids use TikTok or Instagram? Sorry, but the White House might listen to these meddling nannies—real Americans shouldn’t. If we let them police speech and screen time for children, what will they decide to regulate next? Maybe it’s time we scold the scolds—and remind them that freedom isn’t some foreign concept.
