Senator Chuck Schumer’s latest stunt on the Senate floor should have every American’s blood boiling. On the same day ICE was involved in a shooting in Biddeford, Maine, Schumer marched up to the microphone and tried to convince the nation that America’s border crisis is just an illusion. It’s jaw-dropping to watch a career politician pretend that the chaos pouring across our border is somehow made up.
This is pure, unfiltered gaslighting. Democrats like Schumer will do anything to distract from the disasters they helped create. They close their eyes to the violence and crime that open borders bring into our neighborhoods. While ICE agents are risking their lives dealing with the fallout, Schumer is standing in front of cameras spinning fairy tales for his left-wing pals.
It gets worse. Right at the end of his speech, something unexpected and embarrassing happened—an audible “surprise” echoed through the chamber, and you could almost hear the last shred of his credibility go right out the window. That’s fitting, since everything about Schumer’s speech stunk from start to finish. Liberals are getting clumsy, and their attempted cover-ups aren’t fooling anyone.
This is what happens when globalist interests come before American citizens. The left refuses to accept reality, doubling down even as the consequences of their policies play out on our streets. For Schumer and his friends, protecting illegal immigrants and playing politics is more important than protecting American families. They’re more focused on posturing and playing pretend than getting serious about the border or law enforcement.
No one’s buying the lies anymore. Americans can see what’s really happening, and they’re fed up with political hacks making excuses and blaming everyone but themselves. If Schumer really thinks anyone is swallowing his latest nonsense, he’s even more out of touch than we thought. When will Democrats finally put America first—or do they even remember what that means?
