It looks like President Trump is once again putting America first while refusing to be baited into another endless war. In a recent interview, Trump made it clear that the United States is not itching to blow up Iran’s crucial Kharg Island oil facilities. But unlike the weak leaders of the past, he didn’t rule out a tough move if Iran keeps testing our patience. Take notes, liberals: this is called strength combined with strategy.
While the left obsesses over appeasing Iranian dictators and making backroom deals that only embolden our enemies, Trump’s approach is crystal clear. He understands that American blood is precious and that our military power shouldn’t be tossed around to please European elites or globalist think tanks. The left never learns — they’d rather coddle terror states than stand up for the United States, hoping peace talks will work magic. Meanwhile, Trump knows that sometimes warning your enemies is the smartest deterrent there is.
The so-called “world community” always whines about America being too bold. But when Iran threatens our interests, especially with their oil money fueling terror, tough talk and real action keep the bad guys in check. The liberal media will wring their hands and gasp, but Trump just coolly points out that the U.S. has the resources and resolve to go after critical Iranian targets—if pushed. That’s called leverage, and it’s what kept our adversaries at bay before Biden’s circus arrived.
It’s no surprise that leftists will attack Trump’s stance as reckless or provocative. These are the same people who called Obama “brilliant” for giving away billions to Iran and pretending that would buy peace. How did that work out? Iran laughed all the way to its nuclear escalators while Americans got empty promises and embarrassing headlines.
Trump isn’t interested in another Middle East quagmire, but he also won’t let American strength collect dust while rogue regimes profit. If Iran keeps poking the bear, don’t be shocked if Trump acts—and acts decisively. Maybe it’s time liberals asked themselves why they’re so nervous about a president that says what he means, and means what he says.
