An ICE agent in Houston was forced to defend his own life when an illegal immigrant tried to run him over. The facts are simple, but it’s no surprise the left will twist them every which way to fit their open-borders narrative. Federal agents were on a mission, doing the job our government claims to support, and instead of complying, this criminal chose violence. When an illegal immigrant drives straight at you, that’s not a misunderstanding — that’s attempted murder. Liberals love to cry about ICE enforcement, but they never spare a thought for the men and women who risk their lives every day.
Let’s be clear: the man who lost his life was not an innocent bystander caught in some tragic accident. He was in the country illegally. He refused to surrender, ignored repeated orders, and then used his vehicle as a weapon. That’s not desperation — that’s a choice. Yet somehow, in the twisted world of progressive politics, ICE agents are always painted as the villains just for doing their job.
We’ve seen it over and over again. Democrats are more concerned about how illegal immigrants are treated than with keeping Americans safe. They talk a big game about compassion but have nothing to say when our laws are ignored and our agents attacked. It’s the same song and dance: blame law enforcement, excuse criminal behavior, and hope voters don’t notice the chaos at the southern border.
The truth is, this tragedy could have been avoided – if our leaders actually enforced immigration laws. Instead, the globalist elites in DC treat border security like a bargaining chip, while hardworking agents face life-and-death decisions on the ground. There is no “systemic racism” or “institutional oppression” here. There’s just law enforcement trying to protect our laws and our safety, and a radical left that looks the other way.
How many more ICE agents have to face death just for doing their jobs before the left admits their open-borders fantasy is a nightmare for real Americans? Maybe they never will — after all, it’s not their lives on the line.
