When the American people hear about Senate hearings on fraud, they expect their leaders to show up and fight the corruption choking our nation. But this week proved, once again, that the Democrats couldn’t be bothered. As Ohio’s Senator Bernie Moreno looked around the chamber, what did he see? Empty Democrat chairs. Silence. A complete lack of interest—almost like exposing government fraud just isn’t a priority for the left.
Republicans were ready to dig for the truth. But across the aisle, not one Democrat was interested in asking a single question. The chairman, Senator Rand Paul, even confirmed the obvious: there were no Democrats in the room. How convenient! When it comes to safeguarding American tax dollars, the left’s absence speaks louder than words. Maybe they were too busy plotting their next massive handout or rewriting history lessons for our kids.
Let’s be honest. The Democrats are never around when Americans demand accountability. If uncovering fraud doesn’t fit their narrative, they’re nowhere to be found. They’d rather play identity politics and cater to their globalist pals than actually protect American families from government abuse. When corruption’s up for debate, liberals run and hide.
The message is clear. The left loves power, but not responsibility. When the swamp gets too murky, they vanish. But if you mention spending billions on pet projects or giving away hard-earned tax dollars to illegal immigrants, suddenly, every liberal is front and center with their hand out. American citizens foot the bill, while Democrats disappear when it’s time to clean house.
Democrats love to talk about fairness and justice, but when the spotlight turns to their own messes, they bolt for the exits. Their priorities couldn’t be clearer: ignore fraud, protect the bureaucracy, and keep the gravy train rolling for their friends. If they won’t show up to defend American taxpayers, why should any of us trust them to run the country? The left won’t fight corruption—because they’re too busy benefiting from it.
