Two More Illegals Steal From American Taxpayers—And Get a Slap on the Wrist
America’s borders are wide open, and the con artists know it. Two Dominican nationals just got caught running a long-term scam stealing the identities of American citizens—then using those stolen names to rip off Medicaid, SNAP, and unemployment programs. Their “reward” for nearly a decade of theft? A laughable 18-month prison stint for one, barely a year for the other. This is the price law-abiding citizens pay for a system that puts foreigners and fraudsters before American families.
While hardworking Americans scrape by, illegal immigrants and their criminal pals game the system, pocketing tens of thousands that were supposed to help our own struggling citizens. These two criminals used Social Security numbers that weren’t theirs, lied their way into health plans, and fed themselves on food stamps paid for by exhausted taxpayers. All told, they siphoned off about $75,000, and heaven only knows how many other fraudsters are out there cashing in, right now, thanks to weak enforcement and liberal priorities.
And what happened when the crooks were finally caught? The so-called “justice system” handed out sentences that amount to little more than a paid vacation. The same liberals who screech about “caring for the poor” have built a system so loose and reckless that bad actors stroll right through, loot the treasury, and get off easy. This isn’t just incompetence—it’s a betrayal. If a regular American pulled the same stunts, they’d face years, if not decades, behind bars.
Meanwhile, agencies are scrambling to react. The Department of Justice brags about forming a new National Fraud Enforcement Division. But where were they while these schemes went on for ten years? Bureaucrats pile up investigations, but it’s always after the fact—once the damage is done and our pockets are already picked. The endless parade of government acronyms (USDA, HHS, SSA, and on and on) are apparently powerless to stop the theft, but they sure know how to hold press conferences and claim credit for “fighting fraud” after it’s far too late.
President Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance talk about a “whole-of-government” crackdown. Good. About time. Because enough is enough—Americans are sick of carrying freeloaders, criminals, and foreign scammers on their backs. The government’s number one job is to put Americans first, not make handouts to thieves and strangers. How many more times do we have to watch our hard-earned money stolen before liberals wake up—and before our leaders fight back like they mean it?
