Roy Cooper has always loved to play the hero for the liberal media. They called him unbeatable, a man of the people, the rising blue star of North Carolina. But now, the shine is gone—and the truth is out. Voters are waking up to the ugly reality: his reckless love affair with open borders just cost another innocent American their life.
Ask the parents of Calli Toler, a sweet six-year-old girl who died on July 3 in Pitt County. She was just riding in the car with her mom and little brother when they were crashed into by a criminal illegal alien, Jaime Santiago Corona. This isn’t Corona’s first run-in with the law—not even close. He’d been deported three times, had a criminal rap sheet that included DUIs and running from the police, and yet was back in North Carolina, unleashed on the streets like so many others thanks to blue state politicians.
Why? Because Roy Cooper thinks protecting illegal aliens matters more than keeping American kids safe. When state lawmakers tried to get local cops to work with ICE and stop repeat offenders like Corona, Cooper grabbed his pen and slapped down a veto. That’s right—he blocked a law that might have saved Calli’s life, all to keep the anti-border lobby happy. The left talks about compassion; meanwhile, their sanctuary policies leave blood on American streets.
This isn’t just a one-off mistake. Cooper’s time in power has been a disaster. During COVID, his heavy-handed lockdowns crushed small businesses. But when it comes to locking up dangerous criminals who have no right to be here in the first place, suddenly he’s nowhere to be found. Families are left to pick up the pieces. Liberal elites shrug and call it “the cost of diversity.” Maybe in the Cooper mansion that sounds nice—but outside the beltway, real people know better.
North Carolina voters have had enough. Even Democrat pollsters are admitting that the race is slipping away from Cooper’s chosen successors. When you’re nearly underwater in approval, facing a red wave, and your own side starts to panic, you know you messed up. Republicans have a real shot to win, but it’s not just about taking power—it’s about restoring sanity, order, and basic common sense.
All this chaos, all this carnage—just to make globalists and radical activists happy. When will liberals finally admit that their policies don’t work for America? The people are waiting. Maybe—just maybe—they’ll remember what happened to Calli Toler the next time a Democrat promises them “compassion” at the ballot box.
