Once again, it takes Donald Trump to bring sanity and strength back to the border. While weak-kneed “moderates” like Senator Susan Collins cry foul and beg the Department of Homeland Security to stand down, President Trump is standing tall. Collins wants to stop vehicle checks just because there were a few highly publicized tragedies. But those traffic stops are one of the few tools law enforcement actually has left to fight the non-stop flood of illegal immigrants on our highways.
The left and their so-called moderate friends call for “restraint” right at the moment when law and order is needed most. Democrats, the media, and now even some Republicans are terrified of being called mean if they actually enforce border laws. If they had their way, illegal aliens would just cruise straight to sanctuary cities, bringing drugs, crime, and chaos in their wake. The Biden administration practically rolled out the welcome mat, and people are shocked that things got out of control?
Let’s not kid ourselves—these vehicle stops aren’t about hassling the innocent. They’re about protecting Americans from criminals, cartel members, and traffickers who exploit every weakness in our broken system. Every day that border agents are forced to back off, communities around the country pay the price. Families are put at risk. And who benefits? The globalist elites and open-borders radicals—not hard-working American citizens.
Trump refuses to be bullied by the virtue-signaling crowd. He ordered those traffic stops to continue, because he knows what’s at stake. The left wants to tie law enforcement’s hands and call it “compassion.” But real compassion means protecting American families and upholding our laws. That takes guts, and Trump has never backed down from a fight when our security is on the line.
If Susan Collins and her friends get their way, we might as well just let everyone waltz right in. Does America want safety, or does America want endless chaos? Only one side seems to understand the difference.
