Democrat Mayor Accused of Secret Deals with Foreign Powers House GOP Strikes

House Republicans are finally doing what Democrats always run away from: demanding real accountability. This week, conservatives in Congress, led by Rep. Addison McDowell, called for a full-blown federal investigation into New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s crew. Their crime? They’re accused of trampling all over the Logan Act — a law that stops officials from playing diplomat behind America’s back.

Don’t be fooled by liberal excuses. Left-wing politicians like Mamdani think the laws don’t apply to them, and they act like they’re above the rules meant to protect this country. Now, they could finally be facing the music for trying to cut private deals or carry out foreign policy without permission. Is anyone surprised that a Democrat mayor in America’s most liberal city might think he can cut side deals with foreign powers?

The hypocrisy here is off the charts. For years, liberals screamed about “Russian collusion” and “foreign interference” whenever something didn’t go their way. But when their own team starts skirting American law, suddenly it’s crickets. There’s one rule for the elites and another for the rest of us. That’s what real Americans are sick and tired of.

Let’s get real: the left has a history of cozying up to globalist interests, selling out American sovereignty out of sight from regular folks. When Democrat politicians communicate with foreign officials, they aren’t thinking about America—they’re thinking about their own power. They always think they know better, no matter what the law says.

Law and order is what makes this country strong. It’s about time someone reminded corrupt Democrats that the rules apply to everyone. If Mayor Mamdani and his staff broke the Logan Act, they should be held accountable—no special treatment, no liberal loopholes. Or does the left just hate the idea of anyone defending American law and values?
