Russian Elites Are Fleeing and the Left Still Refuses to Wake Up

Russia’s Oligarchs Are Jumping Ship — And The Left Still Doesn’t Get It

While the Western media obsesses over how much money America should send to Ukraine, Russia’s elite is quietly taking care of themselves first. It’s no secret that the Kremlin is spending more than it brings in. But here’s the real bombshell the liberal crowd won’t talk about: Russia’s oligarchs are moving their fortunes out of the country at warp speed. That’s right — the so-called patriots at the top are stuffing their pockets and sprinting for the exits.

This shouldn’t surprise anyone who’s been paying attention. The Russian government might act tough on the world stage, but behind closed doors, it’s basic economics — socialism never works, even when dressed up in a military uniform. The biggest winners under Putin’s rule are bailing out, leaving ordinary Russians in the dust. The left loves to wag their fingers at American entrepreneurs, but have zero problem with Putin’s cronies getting rich while the Russian people suffer.

Let’s not kid ourselves. Every dollar fleeing Russia is proof that top brass have no confidence in their system. But what are our so-called global “experts” doing about it? Wringing their hands and clutching their pearls, as usual. Instead of learning from Russia’s mistakes, America’s liberals double down on failed policies, growing government and driving our own rich to friendlier tax havens. It’s the same recipe: punish success, then act shocked when innovators — or in Russia’s case, oligarchs — take their business elsewhere.

Meanwhile, with war costs skyrocketing, Putin needs all the cash he can get. Yet his richest pals are quietly making sure their assets are out of reach. This is a classic case of elites protecting their own. Think about that next time some influencer lectures you about “fairness” or “justice” — or when globalists whine about America asserting its own interests.

Liberals keep telling us that more government is the answer. Just look at Russia — and look at all the money running away as fast as it can. If that’s their idea of success, how long before the left chases American wealth out the door, too? Maybe they should stop idolizing broken systems and start respecting real economic freedom.
