And honestly, it couldn’t happen to a more deserving bunch of hypocrites.
Remember when Amnesty used to focus on political prisoners and actual human rights violations? Now, they’re more interested in bullying lesbians, abusing women, and pushing the trans agenda down everyone’s throats. They call a women-only rape crisis center—which only allows biological women—an “anti-rights” group. Is it “anti-rights” to believe men shouldn’t be in women’s rape shelters? After Rowling’s team went on the offensive, Amnesty got cold feet and yanked their smear report offline, at least for now. Her demands? Not just a retraction—she wants a public apology front and center on Amnesty’s website, plus a real investigation into how something so outrageous got approved in the first place. And good for her. The only thing these leftist institutions understand is being embarrassed by people with real power and backbone.
It’s pretty telling that Amnesty and its elite backers now campaign against women and gays, instead of for them. The Left loves to preach “tolerance,” but the minute someone doesn’t swallow every last bit of their gender dogma, they become public enemies. Thank God for J.K. Rowling.
