Sheldon Whitehouse caught shielding abusers while preaching justice hypocrisy stuns America

The left’s double standards are alive and well, and no one proves it better than Sheldon Whitehouse. This is a man who, when backed into a corner about sexual abuse scandals involving his own party, only cares when the victims have a “D” next to their name. He’s the king of performative outrage—unless, of course, the accused is a fellow liberal or one of their precious “alliances” is at risk. Maybe Whitehouse’s smug attitude flies back in Rhode Island, but the rest of America can see straight through him.

Just look at how he dodged questions about the Graham Platner disaster. Platner, the so-called oyster farmer with an SS tattoo (yes, really), got caught in the spotlight after horrifying allegations of rape and abuse. The most prominent accuser was a Republican woman—someone the left treated like garbage because her story threatened their narrative. Instead of concern, Whitehouse and his cronies shrugged her off, wrapping themselves in the usual legalese and “due process” nonsense. Funny how that kind of mercy never showed up when they were trying to destroy Brett Kavanaugh over fake claims and old high school yearbooks.

Let’s not forget the liberal media’s role in downplaying the disgusting behavior of their own. While one major newspaper scrambled to distract and deflect, real journalists did their job, uncovering a web of sexual assault that Whitehouse and friends desperately hoped nobody would notice. The media’s excuse? That the original Republican accuser just wasn’t reliable enough, even though other outlets easily confirmed her story and linked it to even more serious assaults. But heaven forbid someone question the word of Christine Blasey Ford when it was time to lynch a conservative judge. The hypocrisy is sickening.

Whitehouse loves to remind everyone he’s a former prosecutor, as if that gives him special powers to smell out the truth. All it proves is that some prosecutors are just as crooked and biased as the politicians they work with. This is the same guy who led the Democrat ambush on Kavanaugh—interrogating him over nothingburgers and smearing his name without a shred of solid evidence. Now he’s shielding his own party’s predators and pretending to care about the system. Typical.

The American people aren’t buying it anymore. The left wants us to believe in “believe all women”—unless the accused is a Democrat or the victim is a Republican. Maybe Whitehouse should spend less time grandstanding and more time standing up for all victims of abuse, no matter their politics. But that would take guts—which is the last thing you’ll find in a career hack from the tiniest blue state in the country. At the end of the day, when will liberals actually practice what they preach—or does their moral compass only work when it’s pointed toward conservatives?
