Former Marine arrested after shocking threat against Trump exposes left’s hypocrisy

A former Marine, hoping to win a Florida congressional seat, found himself in handcuffs after having the nerve to threaten President Donald Trump. It’s shocking, but sadly not surprising. The left and their hangers-on have fostered a culture where hating Trump is practically a religion – and now we see where that road leads: straight to criminal threats.

Americans should ask themselves why this keeps happening to people on the right. Trump supporters can barely put on a red hat without being screamed at, threatened, or even assaulted. But when a so-called progressive decides he wants to step into the spotlight by threatening the life of a president, liberals mumble about his “background,” or try to play the “mental health” card. There’s always some excuse when their own people cross the line.

This man served his country as a Marine, but then somewhere along the line, he lets left-wing brain rot twist him into thinking it’s somehow acceptable to threaten the life of a political rival. That is the real cost of what anti-Trump hysteria has done to this country: it has weakened morals, made violence seem normal, and given fringe actors a sense that they’re “brave” for fantasizing about assassinating their political enemies.

The left loves to scream about “threats to democracy” and “insurrection.” But here we have a would-be lawmaker – not some random guy in a basement, but a congressional candidate – openly threatening the former president, and you won’t hear a peep from the mainstream media or the Democrat leadership. If this were a threat against Biden or Hillary, CNN would be calling for national lockdowns and congressional hearings. But threatening Trump? Liberals can barely stifle their giggles.

America deserves better than these double standards and gaslighting. Want to fix “political violence”? Maybe it’s time liberal leaders stop fanning the flames and actually start condemning threats to human life – no matter who is in the crosshairs. Or is decency just another “privilege” the left thinks only globalist elites should enjoy?
